GALA DINNER FOR CATHETERISATION UNIT

Some 200 local businessmen and their guests recently gathered in Nazareth to host a fundraising Gala Dinner in aid of the Hospital’s Catheterisation Unit campaign, “Heart to Heart”.

The event was attended by the UK Ambassador to Israel, Matthew Gould, and the Nazareth Municipality Deputy, Mr Ali Salam, who both spoke positively, encouraging people to donate.

PETER’S WHEELS OF SUCCESS

Cycling enthusiast and Trustee, Dr Peter Turnpenny, is embarking on a sponsored six day cycle trip spanning the length of the UK.

Departing from Land’s End, Peter, and his colleague from Exeter, Dr Mike Jeffreys, will set off on the evening of 17th May and travel a staggering 900 miles before arriving at John O’Groats on 23rd May. The route in the cycling works is known as LE2JOG!

Peter is already clocking up 500 miles a month in training and is hoping that his fitness, combined with the support of friends and colleagues en route, will see him through the journey.

As we worshipped together, some of us for the last time this last week, we asked people to share their testimony of their time here. So here are some of the highlights!

Psalm 121 has meant so much in our journey here. It got us to Israel, when we were wondering whether it was safe and I have continued on this theme of knowing that God is leading everything. Anxiety can hold us back but this psalm gives us guidance and assurance. I have loved my time here.

SERVE NEWS - WEEK COMMENCING MONDAY 25TH MARCH

The group from Michigan, North Carolina and Tennessee – has served us well for the past week, sharing and painting and building relationships with everyone they encountered!
We pray for safe journeys for them as they tour for the next two days, travelling back home this Saturday.
We pray that each one would be blessed and empowered through their time and experience here.
We pray that each team member will have come to know Jesus more as they have spent time in Jesus' hometown and that each will have been blessed as they have blessed others.
