I am Interested in Learning More The Nazareth Trust
SERVE Nazareth is proud to announce that the spring cohort of interns are in Nazareth and beginning their ministries. There are five interns this spring: three Americans and two Canadians. They have been spiritually and culturally preparing themselves for their time in Nazareth since November and the evidence is obvious. We are truly blessed to have this group of interns here in Nazareth.
Their first week was spent participating in a Preparation Week which focused on cultural awareness, ministry preparedness, and personal spiritual growth. The participants prayed over Nazareth and the hospital and began their ministry in Nazareth with prayer!
They began volunteering in two ministries each, this week. They are ministering in many different areas of Nazareth. They are working with children, youth and young adults, and patients in the hospital. They will be helping to plan summer camps, leading youth meetings, mentoring youth and other young adults, praying and ministering with the chaplaincy in the hospital and a host of other events. Please pray for these interns as they are just beginning their ministry here in Nazareth. Pray that God will encourage and grow them while they are here and that He will use them to make a lasting impact on this city.
