Parenting skills are a particular passion for Amal Khazin, Director of the Nazareth School of Nursing.
Galilean children and their parents suffer from exactly the same pressures and problems as families anywhere else, but in Arab culture a parent risks losing face if they seek advice or help outside the family circle. Amal's book thus answers a real need.
Translations into Hebrew is being considered; the book has been so well recevied that she is now writing a weekly parenting column in local newspaper Al-Sunnara.
Amal is giving all profits from the book to the School.
